RAMSEY W. CHAMBLESS
Hailing from the picturesque pines and sprawling fields of Dublin, Georgia, and further refined in the Classic City of Athens, Georgia, Ramsey is a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, where he earned dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Political Science.
Upon receiving his law degree from Georgia State University’s College of Law, Ramsey embarked on a litigation career dedicated to justice, initially serving as a prosecutor at the Hall County Solicitor's Office in Gainesville, Georgia.
He later transitioned into civil practice as in-house counsel for The Cincinnati Insurance Company, where he represented this esteemed Fortune 500 firm across courthouses throughout Georgia. In this capacity, Ramsey managed the statewide subrogation litigation practice, tackling a diverse array of significant claims, from defective products to construction and design issues, as well as matters involving workers' compensation, premises liability, and automobile accident defense.
In 2019, Ramsey joined the firm of Myers & Wingate, practicing alongside two of North Georgia’s most skilled civil defense attorneys, Allan Myers and John "Tripp" Wingate, III. Following Allan’s retirement and Tripp’s election to the State Court of Hall County, the Chambless Law Firm was established to continue the tradition of excellence in insurance defense.
Beyond his commitment to providing expert counsel to insurance companies throughout northeast Georgia, Ramsey regularly litigates cases involving construction, contracts, and probate matters, demonstrating a versatile approach to the law.
Outside of his legal practice, Ramsey cherishes time spent with his wife and son. As an Eagle Scout and the current Scoutmaster of Troop 225, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation. In his leisure time, he enjoys embarking on DIY projects (and occasionally completing them) while passionately cheering for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs each Fall.
